Welcome to a reality website featuring a propietary stock trader using technical analysis to trade the Philippine stock market. Whipsaw is a self-taught, avid enthusiast of Technical Analysis who trades stocks listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange for his own account. He considers himself a discretionary active trader.
In the left hand "Navigation" column you will find "Setups and Market Review", which is a link to a blog where I regularly post charts and technical analysis of selected stocks and indices. I will also identify stocks in high probability setup conditions and other securities that may be exhibiting discernable technical signals that I find important. You will find a journal of my recent trades and the composition of my present stock holdings under "Trades and Portfolio".
Whipsaw's stock trading system. Trades last from a few days to three weeks, more or less. Uptrending stocks with sound fundamentals and healthy trading liquidity are considered. Price patterns and indicators are used to (a) identify uptrending stocks, (b) spot trade setups that give a heads up on the probable direction and magnitude of an impending price movement, and (c) develop trading plans that intend to capture near term gains and mitigate downside risk thru loss limits and trade sizing.
